Dr. Eleftheriadou is an otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon since 2008, with postgraduate training in the USA (UC Davis) and specialization in Neuro-otology & Audiology at the University of Würzburg (Germany). She holds a PhD from the University of Athens School of Medicine (Grade Excellent).
She has a rich research work, international publications with a high number of citations and is a member of leading scientific societies such as Barany & Politzer Societies. She has participated in many international conferences as a speaker and member of expert panels.
She has taught at Universities (Crete, AUTH). Served as a specialist otolaryngologist at the hospital of Rethymno (2009 – 2025)
At the same time, she is active in local government as Deputy Mayor of Rethymnon (since 2019) and actively participates in hearing prevention activities for children in remote areas.
